Abstract

A 14 years old female with diminution of vision,ptosis and painful ophthalmoplegia of right eye for 2weeks having visual acuity of PL positive,PR accurate and grade I RAPD in right eye.Fundus Examination revealed Pale optic disc of the right eye with normal investigations except for High CRP.CEMRI of brain and orbit revealed heterogeneously enhancing soft tissue of right cavernous sinus and right superior orbital fissure suggestive of Tolosa Hunt Syndrome showing good response to IV Methylprednisolone 1g/kg given for 3 days followed by tapering dose of Oral prednisolone.Neurology opinion was taken and no recurrence since follow-up for last 5 months.
