Abstract

Purpose:To evaluate the visual outcome after anti-VEGF injection in CNVM patient.MATERIALS AND METHOD:This is a prospective observational study conducted on 13 patient diagnosed eye of CNVM and it's presence was confirmed by FFA.RESULT:Mean age of study participants were 60.2.Majority 62 percent of the patients were more than 60 years of age out of 13 patients 8 were male and 5 were female with M:F of 6:4.Difference in visual acuity at pre and post treatment was significant with pvalue(0.01) Statistically significant difference was found pre and post treatment macular thickness on oct(pvalue<0.01)CONCLUSION:Intravitreal Ranizumab injection was beneficial treatment for all type of CNVM administer over 8 month follow up achieved significant improvement in BCVA and decreased Retinal thickness by OCT.
