Abstract
Purpose:To Report a case of Non Specific Orbital Inflammatory Disease(Orbital Pseudo tumor)
Methods:48 Year Male presented with drooping of LE and UL prominence of LE on elevating the ptotic lid associated with pain in LE.HCRT-BE Central.EOM-full and free in RE.All EOM are limited in all gazes in LE.Loss of 3, 6 Cranial Nerves.BE BCVA 6/24.BE Anterior segment,Pupil Normal,BE Lens IMSC.ESR, CRP Elevated.MRI Brain and orbits with contrast- hypointense lesion in intraconal compartment involving whole tendon of Left SR, MR, LR muscles orbital fat probably orbital pseudo tumor
Results: The case was diagnosed as LE Non Specific Inflammatory Disease and started treatment with tapering dose of oral corticosteroids,
painkillers. Two days after administration of oral steroids there was improvement in LE Ptosis. 2 weeks after administration of steroids there was improvement in ocular movements along with ptosis in LE.The patient was on regular followup with tapering dose of steroids for a month.
