Abstract

PURPOSE; Ocular toxoplasmosis is one of the most common causes of posterior uveitis caused by toxoplasma gondii, can be considered as an agent of high infectivity. METHODS; A case report of patient who underwent diagnostic testing and had ocular toxoplasmosis confirmed. CASE REPORT; A 27 yera old female patient who had previously complained of vision loss in both eyes since childhood is now complaining of a generalized headache that is associated with nausea but not vomiting and has a history of contact with livestock. OCT revealing 2-DD & 3-DD hyperpigmented chorioretinal scars involving macula in right and left eyes respectively. In addition there is satellite lesion at optic disc temporally in right eye suggestive of ocular toxoplasmosis.
