Abstract
A 23 year old female presented with progressive headache for the past 10days and sudden onset defective vision in both eyes , associated with pain on movements of the eyes for the past 3 days . There was no history of fever or trauma . On examination BCVA was 6/12 in both eyes . The anterior and posterior segment findings in both the eyes were normal . Central fields revealed peripheral constriction in both eyes . General physical examination and neurological examination was normal . MRI revealed bilateral retrobulbar neuritis with cerebellar tonsillar ectopia . On follow up visit day 15 , the BCVA improved to 6/6 in both the eyes with treatment of intravenous methylprednisalone 1gm for 3 days.
