Abstract
Purpose:
HZO, due to reactivation of VZV in ophthalmic division of trigeminal nerve, can lead to severe loss of vision. This report presents a case of HZO Right eye in a 67 year old female.
Method:
Patient presented with pain and DoV in right eye, pain in right forehead since 2 months and redness and watering in same eye since 15 days. Vision in left eye was lost since childhood. A complete history was taken, wherein past history revealed occurrence of blisters over right forehead and nose 2 months back. No other significant past surgical, medical, personal, family or animal handing history. No allergies and no history of contact lens use. Complete general and systemic examination was performed. Vitals found stable and no other significant findings. Blood investigations were within normal limits except Hb-9.6g/dl, S.Urea-31mg/dl, and RBS-171 mg/
