Abstract
Colobomatous Ocular cyst is a rare malformation with a cavity lined by neuroectodermal tissue and communication with vitreous cavity.
23 old female presented with protrusion of left eye for last 6 months gradually increasing in size,with exposed congested conjunctiva, restricted movements of extra Ocular muscles in all direction and diminution of vision. There is history of microphthalmos from birth in the same eye. CEMRI orbit suggests colobomatous cyst. Two step treatment planned, enucleation and HPE done in step 1 and excessive fibrous tissue excision with grafting and prosthesis in step 2. HPE shows cystic changes, calcification, fibrosis, haemorrhagic areas.
