Abstract
A cross sectional study, conducted in patients diagnosed as POAG&PACG in department of ophthalmology, tertiary eye hospital from march to june 2023.Patients aged 20-79 yrs of both sexes. Detailed history and visual acuity, slit lamp examination, SD-OCT was done in 102 patients, all
readings noted ,Out of 102 patients with PACG and POAG who were considered for study,54 PACG and 48 POAG.SD-OCT changes in parapapillary beta and gamma zones are different types of glaucoma. parapapillary beta zone ,a better indicator for severity in eyes with PACG than POAG. similar results are found in study conducted by kunte shang.SD- OCT is a cross- sectional imaging of retina & RNFL in eyes with PPA .In this study we found that majority of patients with parapapillary gamma zone more associated with POAG concentric shape of parapapillary beta zone correlate with severity in PACG . Parapapillary gamma zone present in 50 eyes 18 eyes in th PACG and 32 eyes in POAG patients
