Abstract
ons and no requirement for additional filtering or aqueous drainage surgery; further subclassified as complete success with usage of no medications and qualified success with usage of less than ≤ 2 medications. Success, using Kaplan-Meier analysis was determined at 6 month, 12 month and 24 months. Specular microscopy at baseline and post operatively at 3, 6 and 12 months (wherever possible) was performed and evaluated for corneal endothelial cell density (CECD) changes. Results: The mean age of the patients was 29.92 ± 16.6yrs. The mean follow-up after AGV implantation was 23.35 ± 20.64 months (range: 1–144 months). The mean pre-operative IOP was reduced from 33.42±7.58 mmHg to 16.57±4.07 mmHg at the final follow up (p<0.0001). The number of anti-glaucoma medications were reduced from 5 ±1.17 at baseline to 0.92 ± 0.47 at final follow up (p=0.0001). The cumulative probability of success was 83.3% at 6 months, 77.8% at 1 year and 71% at 2 years. A total of 28.6% (4/14) eyes
